Judges of Best Overall Experience – Archiboo Web Awards
The final Archiboo Web Awards, Best Overall Experience category evaluates architecture websites and how they fully engage with their audience.
Reviewing websites with content, visual design, functionality, interactivity, structure and navigation that are excellent across all devices (desktop/laptop, tablet, phone) and platforms. The winning website needs to be adaptive and make excellent use of technology.
Daniel May – Head of Design at First Base, the mixed use developer is involved in some of London’s most notable developments including East Village in the Olympic Park, the iconic Adelaide Wharf in Shoreditch and most recently, the £3.5bn regeneration of Silvertown in the Royal Docks.
Claer Barrett – Personal Finance Editor of the Financial Times, responsible for editing the weekend FT Money section, and increasing its digital output, including the FT Money Show. With 15 years’ experience, Claer started out as the property correspondent on Investors Chronicle. She became the FT’s retail correspondent in 2011 and was then deputy UK news editor before taking up the reins at FT Money in 2015.
Colm Lacey – Director of Development for Croydon Council, and is responsible for realising the borough’s regeneration ambitions of delivering 9,500 new homes and 16,000 new jobs by 2020 Previously, he played a pivotal role at Newham Council as Director of Regeneration and Planning, leading on a variety of major development projects in Stratford and the Royal Docks which brought the east London borough to international prominence.
