Judges of Best Written Content – Archiboo Web Awards
Kicking off this week, selected judges will be evaluating the shortlist of websites from architecture practices for Archiboo’s Web Awards 2016 in 6 different categories.
The first category, Best Written Content, is judged on how the architecture website demonstrates written content that is engaging, original and insightful. The writing must have a high level of consistency, always ensuring it is readable and relevant to the audience.
Paul Finch – Paul Finch is programme director of the World Architecture Festival and Editorial Director of the Architectural Review and Architects’ Journal. After seven years as a property journalist, he went on to edit Building Design, AJ and AR. He was deputy chair and later chair of Cabe (1999 to 2011), and chaired its Olympic design review panel. He also served as deputy chair of the Design Council (2011 to 2014).
Giles Barrie – Giles Barrie is Managing Director of FTI Consulting and former editor-in-chief of Property Week. Since joining FTI Consulting in 2013 he has worked on a number of corporate and financial PR briefs, including work for AECOM, Aviva, Blackstone, British Land, Capital & Regional, CBRE Residential, Dalian Wanda, Dolphin Living, Exemplar, Green REIT, Hammerson, Helical Bar, Nabarro, St George, SEGRO, Urban & Civic and Westfield.
Martyn Evans – Former Creative Director of U+I. His career has always focused on creating brands with stories, including for brands such as The Body Shop and Hugo Boss. He ran his own consultancy, Origin, which specialised in creative brand storytelling in the consumer product, design, architecture and property sectors. He recently launched Uncommon, a new development company.
