Peaches & Cream IV
Peaches & Cream is a collaborative project between Millennium Images, Milim Gallery and Crane Kalman Brighton, that promotes photography that illuminates reality. The annual competition is open to everyone, with special recognition of fresh talent in the graduate prize category.
In Autumn 2014, Millennium Images showcased their annual Peaches & Cream exhibition at Dreamspace Gallery. The fourth edition of this exhibition presented the works of thirteen photographers from eight different countries. These international talents demonstrated innovative visual approaches by pushing the boundaries of photographic genres.
The judging panel this year consists of highly esteemed experts from the photography and publishing industry: Richard Kalman, Owner of Crane Kalman Brighton Gallery; Richard Evans, Art Director at Atlantic Books; Jason Shenai, Owner of Millennium Images, Jonathan Blyth, Co-founder and Creative Director of Fotonow; Federica Landi, Manager of Milim Gallery. Millennium Images and Adrem hosted the Private View and presented the winner and runners up of 2014.
For this year’s competition the main prize of £1000 was given to Tannaz Amin, Alix Marie won the graduate prize of £250, and both received a printing and mentoring session at Metro Imaging, a portfolio binding session at the Wyvern Bindery and an offer of a three year contract with Millennium Images.
