A graphics and wayfinding consultancy is seeking a well-versed Junior Account Manager to join their team and really muck in to the role. The company specialises in wayfinding design projects for major cities and institutions across the globe. This is a major opportunity for growth within a business, as there is a clear path to become an Account Manager. Someone with great organisational skills with experience in invoicing and supporting a team would do well in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Account Management team in ensuring:
    • Projects are on time
    • Projects are profitable
    • Projects are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Creating, sending, chasing and managing client invoicing, whilst having an understanding of when to be adamant on payment and when to wait (if clients have another project on, making sure to be sensitive to this and possibly wait for an element of that project to finish)
  • Book and manage international travel for Account Management team via the external travel agency, assisting with any issues that may arise with travel and booking
  • Multi-task on various administrative roles across different projects and Account Managers, some on a remote-basis as they are based abroad
  • Regularly liaise with clients, maintaining good working relationships
  • Overtime, once you develop an understanding of the company and clients, progress and take full ownerships of projects, eventually becoming an Account Manager

Key Skills:

  • Understanding of the invoicing process
  • Experience looking after a team or individual, providing key administrative support
  • Experience working across projects and timelines
  • A commercial understanding of how projects run
  • A knack for managing clients and developing key relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
