A design-led architectural practice has an exciting opportunity available for an accomplished & motivated Associate-level Architectural Technician or Technical Architect that is looking for a clear pathway to Directorship. This has been identified as an integral role within the London office and has been created by the restructuring of the senior management team.
The key purpose of this role is to safeguard the development of BIM projects and to provide the London based staff with technical guidance and coordination on unusual or complex problems & developments. On the larger projects, you will be required to supervise additional staff and offer Revit mentorship to junior level staff.
The successful candidate must therefore be able to demonstrate the following –
- A proven Revit (BIM) knowledge with the ability to mentor in this field
- Willingness to work in a hands on fashion, leading from the front
- The ability to lead new projects from technical stages through to completion
- Ability to work independently whilst performing specialised job functions without daily supervision
Given the context surrounding this appointment there are excellent opportunities for career progression, offering the successful candidate the ideal opportunity to become a crucial member of an expanding practice, acquire further exposure to prominent international commissions, work with industry leaders & pioneers, and safeguard your professional advancement.
Ideally you will have experience in large scale & high-quality residential, hospitality & retail (shopping malls) projects as these are the key sectors that our client has identified for growth and this would also add to the existing team’s expertise. This is not an essential requirement as the business is always looking to expand into new sectors.
In return for your services to the company you will be rewarded with an extremely competitive salary and a friendly working environment.
