A leading architecture, design, and planning firm in Central London with enduring commitment to sustainability is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to coordinate the smooth running of Community Sector projects.
Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with principals, senior staff and other marketing team members to design, write, and produce proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral in alignment with brand standards for all community projects.
  • Manage the OJEU processes and advise on the best practice to secure a win
  • Participating in strategy and planning sessions and support our Go/No Go policy
  • Developing new materials as needed to support business development activities
  • Performing multiple marketing efforts against rapid and frequent deadlines
  • Understanding and learning Gensler’s portfolio of work, practice areas, and firm wide capabilities
  • Writing case stories and resumes
  • Coordinating other responsibilities as assigned
  • Maintaining resources & information systems: ordering materials, updating project documentation, resumes, and image libraries


  • An exceptional understanding of the OJEU and PQQ processes
  • A proven track record for effective win rates on Community sector project submissions
  • A solid grounding of professional experience in a marketing/ Bid Coordinator/ Bid Manager position within an architectural, construction, design or professional services firm that specialises in Community or Public sector projects
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Communications or Journalism would be preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating effective presentations and marketing collateral
  • Self-motivator with inter-personal skills and a great collaborator
  • Strong organisational skills to coordinate and manage multiple projects, people and deadlines
  • Ability to work with diverse project teams and in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong graphic communication and design skills
  • Competency in InDesign is a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a plus
