One of the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of bespoke furniture who work with internationally renowned designers, are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their creative and friendly team. Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

  • Proactively generating opportunities through existing/previous clients or new business development
  • Identifying and conducting weekly sales call opportunities
  • Focusing on developing new key relationships within the high-end furniture and A&D market sectors
  • Creating brand and product awareness within the market
  • Building strong partnering relationships within the A&D sector
  • Assisting clients on furniture specification and project details
  • Presenting proposals, written orders, communicating lead times and all relative information to client by face to face meetings, phone or email
  • Track market environment and competition
  • Maintain company culture and standard of excellence

The Business Development Manager will be someone who is…

  • Target driven and ambitous within their approach to the B2B sales, ideally within the South of England but not limited to
  • Strong knowledge and experience working within the A&D industry
  • Confident in both face to face client meetings and presentations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • IT literate with sound experience using Microsoft Office and SAGE
  • Personable with excellent client relation skills
  • Excellent communicator with a high level of numeracy and literacy in English
  • Excellent time keeping and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure both individually and as part of a team
  • Organised and professional, capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on accuracy

The successful candidate will be a driven B2B proactive sales person, already experienced working with prestigious interior design accounts, with a background in delivering proven results within the A&D and Hospitality sector. You will have outstanding attention to detail with excellent administrative skills and you will be well presented, charismatic with a strong work ethic and sense of integrity.
