A medium sized Architecture Practice in East London is looking to hire a Finance and Studio Administrator. Supporting the Operations Manager and working out of a fantastic modern studio in East London you will be responsible for:


  • To post all invoices and payments
  • To reconcile monthly Creditor Statements and deal with Creditor queries
  • To process cheque /BACS payments for both Supplier and Staff Ledgers
  • Ensure compliance with proper order / invoice authorisation procedures
  • Petty Cash
  • Bank lodgements
  • Monthly bank reconciliations


  • To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Directors and staff including:
  • Monitoring and managing diaries, phone calls, post, couriers and travel arrangements
  • Supporting Operations Manager to prepare relevant documents, presentations and submissions by assuring all the supporting documents are updated in Indesign.
  • Supporting Operations Manager in the daily operation of the office premises including responsibility for all office equipment and maintenance contracts
  • General office support duties such as photocopying, binding, arranging meetings and preparing for, and servicing in-house meetings
  • Screening calls
  • Filing, monitoring reception, screening telephone calls, keeping kitchen area tidy and stocked, setting up meeting rooms, planning and organising social events
  • Any other ad hoc administrative tasks as required

To be successful in this role you will need to have proven experience working in a similar role.
