This is an exciting position to lead in the implementation of the overall studio sales strategy and to ensure the integrity of the studio’s client portfolio. They work closely with architects, interior designers, developers and big brands. It is essential this person understands the architecture and property market.

The Sales Director is a vital member of the leadership team and will need to work closely with them to define the sales strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead in implementation of sales strategy and ensure that projects are the right fit
  • Work closely with Directors on continuously adjusting sales strategy in line with current studio vision and mission
  • Research the market, identify relevant leads, and chase possible connections
  • Work closely with Marketing team to identify key areas to focus and suggest methods to reach the most appropriate audiences
  • Manage and nurture relationships with current clients
  • Understand the overall cost of designers in the studio and use this information to generate rough cost estimates for projects
  • Work closely with the Lead Project Managers to understand resourcing pressures
  • Create and update the project pipeline
  • Attend various key networking events within design industry and any relevant others
  • Forecast for future sales and work closely with the FC to report on forecasts
  • Introduce and implement tools and systems to support efficient sales processes
  • Oversee internal programmes for events and networking opportunities
  • Meet targets set
  • Manage New Business Budget
