HR Assistant for Architecture Practice in Clerkenwell Job

An architecture practice in Clerkenwell is seeking a HR Assistant to join their team. This company pride themselves on their market leading policies and best practice.

Core Functions
* Provide administrative support in all areas of HR
* Provide effective HR advice and support to a practice of approximately 250 employees
* Ensure best practice in all areas of HR policies and procedures
* Respond to day to day queries from employees providing timely information and advice
* Ensure accurate and up to date HR information including staff records, reporting from the Cascade system and all correspondence
Recruitment and Induction
* Manage an end to end recruitment schedule, review CVs, obtain input from Management team, produce offers of employment
* Manage the new starter process on Cascade and relevant systems
* Carry out a thorough induction with all new starters ensuring a smooth transition into the practice * Produce all administration for both starters and leavers
Employee Relations
* Promote equality and diversity as part of the practice’s culture
* Maintain HR policies and procedures in line with changing employment legislation
* Ensure policies are communicated and implemented consistently
* Advise on HR policy best practice
* Organise staff feedback forums and focus groups and report on outcomes
Learning and Development
* Assist with the appraisal process and ensure they are carried out in a timely manner
* Analyse training and development needs, ensuring needs are appropriately addressed
* Arrange training across all levels including booking staff on external courses
* Record CPD attendance in Cascade system Payroll and Reward
* Assist the HR Manager with the salary benchmarking and the annual salary review process
* Assist the HR Manager with the annual profit share process and with the HR Manager present to the management team on the model, process and key learnings
* Ensure all administration relating to benefits offered is processed in a timely manner and be the first point of contact regarding queries
Reporting and Management of HR System
* Provide regular reports from the Cascade system on headcount figures and key statistics
* Create and maintain all staff records ensuring they are kept up to date and secure
* Monitor and review staff working hours through the Focal Point system Resourcing
* Collate resourcing requests from Studio Leads on a fortnightly basis
