New Business Administrator – Innovative Architecture & Design Job

One of the worlds most inspiring architecture and design studios are seeking a New Business Administrator to join their talented and international team. This role is to assist with the recording and appraisal of new business opportunities and maintaining oversight of existing business. Experience and understanding of the architecture industry is an absolute must for every applicant.

· Log, research and analyse initial new business enquiries and file related correspondence.
· Monitor and record work of competitors and their collaborations/partnerships on projects.
· Monitor and analyse key markets on an on-going basis.
· Gather industry intelligence and identify potential new business leads.
· Record and log meeting minutes as appropriate.
· Research, evaluate new business enquiries (establish client, programme, budget etc.) and maintain a clear overview of all new business related enquiries.
· Track and manage bid tenders for new projects and coordinate materials for submissions.
· Organise and present data, through charts, graphs, or written reports, as required.
· Prepare and deliver regular new business status updates.
· Nurture new business client relationships as appropriate.

This role needs to develop and maintain positive and professional relationship across the whole studio, as well as with external clients and stakeholders. The key relationships in this role are:
· New Business and Contracts Team and Leaders
· External clients and stakeholder groups
· Communications Team


· Desktop publishing skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Microsoft Office).
· Previous experience in an architectural/design practice and/or knowledge of the architectural industry is compulsory
· Knowledge of studio/project management processes.
· Demonstrable experience of document preparation.
· Clear and effective communication skills; written and verbal.
· Multi-tasking in a fast paced environment.
· Excellent planning and organisational skills.
· Ability to work as part of a team.

An inquisitive, methodical and passionate nature would allow for the best success in this role. All candidates must be able to keep up in a fast paced studio. Experience working on international clients and environments would also be desired due to the nature of this studio’s client base.
