Production and Installation Manager for Bespoke Lighting Studio

A bespoke lighting design studio based in London are now seeking a Production & Installation Manager to join their team. This innovative and contemporary brand offers a full service, from designing and manufacturing to installation. This person will have a knowledge of structural projects, be a natural problem solver and able to coordinate the logistics of projects, delegate when potential site problems arise, lead teams, and more.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage weekly tasks and ensuring projects are on schedule, liaising with Directors and Project Managers
  • Supervise all production and installation, going on site during the survey process to determine possible issues and impacts on project costs
  • Attend weekly design meetings and review drawings, giving input on potential structural issues
  • Oversee management of the workshop and work alongside the workshop manager to ensure production schedules are met, reviewing sites and inputting RAMs documentation
  • Oversee purchase orders and ensuring the right products and stock items are available
  • Quality management, maintaining the highest company standards are met at all times

Key skills:

  • Previous experience within a Managerial Production role with structural knowledge in a similar industry is essential
  • A dedicated and committed individual with strong attention to detail
  • A strong communicator – both verbal and written
  • Proven knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
  • Ability to handle full responsibility of projects from start to finish
