A 200 strong design agency with a diverse range of highly creative people is looking to hire a Professional Development Specialist to be responsible for mapping out development and promotion cycles within the studio. This is a collaborative role working across a fun and proactive HR Team to input key processes for learning, recruitment and staffing assignments, as well as working on a variety of strategic and operational projects. You will act as a coach to Line Managers and certain individuals on professional development and goal setting as well as support apprentices during their schemes. You will take full ownership of the on boarding and integration process for new graduate designers and creators and more experienced industry recruits in the design teams.
You will have an in-depth understanding of professional aspirations, experiences, strengths, development needs, and relevant personal circumstances – both on an on-going basis and around a specific engagement.
The successful candidate for this role will have a strong interest or experience in professional development and people development, they will have a demonstrated track record of strong performance in high performing teams, excellent project management skills and the ability to work well under pressure. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills with strong influencing capabilities and be able to adopt a non-hierarchical approach.
