A global multidisciplinary design firm is looking for a Senior Bid Coordinator to manage bids for priority sectors while assisting management with project pipelines. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced Bid Coordinator to take their next step up into a leading role. There is a Bid Manager who will oversee the Bids team and you will have a Bid Coordinator joining as well who you will guide on certain projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research new bid opportunities (requirements, deadlines, themes and potential issues) and liaise with internal teams on your findings, strategizing on which are the best to go for
  • Ensure all submissions are well-written, challenging any content you think can be improved
  • Manage initial and ongoing bid meetings to ensure key players and team members/project leaders are fully informed and on-board
  • Collect reviews on bids from technical teams against the bid criteria, highlighting potential gaps, ensuring the client’s needs are understood and properly tailored to
  • Assist with development of others, teaching technical and non-technical staff on how to manage a bid and the process
  • Ensure the bid process is properly recorded in the internal tracking system
  • Collate and share best practices/learnings from bid feedback
  • Attend Bid Coordinator team meetings to get progress updates and maintain communication
  • Continually update financial fee information on internal system, liaising with project operations and finance teams
  • Assist with data cleansing for monthly management reports
  • Assist with pipeline, sector and market reporting

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in a bids role (at least 3 years)
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
  • Ability to lead others
  • Ability to multitask and work across several teams
  • Ability to lead in high-pressure situations
  • Proficient in InDesign, Microsoft Office and Outlook
