Are you a Business Development Professional? Do you work in the educational technology industry? Come and work with a London-based technology startup created by a team of engineers from Imperial College London and designers from the Royal College of Art. These guys are also one of the fastest growing start ups in London.
The role of Senior Business Development Manager is to work with the Head of Sales & Marketing to drive rapid growth in the booming educational technology industry. The role will focus on building strategic partnerships, while managing the sales team.

This person will focus on developing and growing our business by building relationships, identifying new opportunities and closing deals. You will own the sales team objectives and pipeline, managing the BDMs to consistently over-deliver against targets.

Partnering with the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will develop and define the evolving channel strategy that will deliver sustainable growth. Your combination of strategic thinking and sharp execution, powered by your relentless ambition and energy will help the business reach stretch targets.

The role has room to develop into a more senior position. You will be a results-driven, growth-obsessed opportunity hunter, who gets their thrills from identifying and capturing new opportunities, and we want to hear from you!

* Identifying significant business opportunities through partnerships with retailers, distributors and more
* Generating new leads, pitching our portfolio to new clients, negotiating and closing strategic deals
* Delivering consistent month on month revenue growth
* Managing the sales team, with ownership of the overall sales team pipeline and results
* Defining and optimising the sales channel strategy based on analytics and proven successes
* Building advanced proposals suited to clients’ needs with the support of Marketing and Design

About you
6+ years experience in sales, preferably within a high-growth technology startup * A proven track record of exceeding tough targets * Familiarity with CRM and pipeline management with an understanding of financial planning and forecasting
