A leading architectural practice is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to liaise with departments and manage logistics to successfully run project operations. The practice works across cultural, academic, sporting and infrastructure architectural design projects. This is a great opportunity for an experienced operations manager to apply their expertise and skills into one of the most prestigious and well recognised architectural practices in the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain key client, supplier, third party logistics and customer relationships
  • Liaise with logistics suppliers to coordinate labelling, packaging and delivery specifications in routing guides
  • Plan, negotiate and manage freight options for inbound and outbound goods, ensuring a smooth, efficient and accurate process
  • Update and maintain internal systems, gather and manage important documents and information for shipments/collections and facilitate information transfers to logistics partners
  • Ensure inventory integrity across various sites, scheduling stock checks and cycle counting activities
  • Manage database for product dispatching and regular tariff classifications
  • Prepare regular analysis of sales and product performance for internal distribution
  • Lead meetings with partners to ensure KPI’s and rate negotiations are correct and properly met
  • Create order status updates and distribute to clients, handling issue-related investigations with dispatched orders
  • Complete time-sensitive tasks within deadline and budget
  • General warehouse and administrative duties/reworks when needed

Key Skills:

  • At least four years logistics experience within the furniture, design or luxury environment
  • Strong understanding of the supply chain management process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident in building key relationships with clients as well as a team-player attitude
  • Analytical thinking with complex planning and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised with extreme attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Excel with the ability to learn internal software programmes
  • Innovative and creative thinker with positive attitude
