Senior Urban Designer, London – Salary circa £40 – 50,000
My Client is seeking to recruit an experienced and creative Urban Designer with substantial design experience to join their London studio. You will work with urban design colleagues alongside town planners, architects, landscape architects and other professionals on a wide variety of exciting projects.
Urbanism is an integral part of the company’s multi-disciplinary offer, with a strong external profile and reputation. Their work is varied and includes challenging masterplans and regeneration frameworks for public and private sector clients in the UK and abroad. They are able to drive positive urban change through their integrated approach to design; creating places for people to experience and enjoy in the process.
By undertaking a variety of duties on a range of projects across multiple sectors, you will develop your skills and experience in a supportive environment, while making a key contribution to the urban design team in the London office. This is an excellent opportunity for your personal development.
You will be an experienced urban designer with substantial experience gained at a leading practice.
You will have a strong academic background, along with a passion for urban design, regeneration and sustainability, and will be enthusiastic about delivering design solutions within the interdisciplinary company ethos.
Experience in the residential sector is an advantage.
As an enthusiastic team player, you will enjoy working in a collaborative team environment to tight deadlines and demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels and backgrounds, including the design team, clients and external consultants.

Salary / benefits
Basic salary is circa £40-50,000 with benefits on top including flexible pension allowance, profit share, private medical insurance, contribution towards professional subscriptions and a dynamic working environment.
