A luxury furniture and lifestyle retailer is seeking a Showroom Sales and Design Consultant to join their close-knit team in their Chelsea showroom. The company sells hundreds of brands by award winning designers and offers design-lead luxury products. They are looking for an experienced consultant in design and showroom sales who is looking to further their experience with a passionate and dedicated company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult incoming clients and negotiate sales to meet regular sales targets
  • Conduct residential site visits and surveys for clients to help guide them in their project
  • Develop key relationships with new and existing trade and retail clients, developing brand loyalty via premier service
  • Produce sales leads, update and maintain the CRM system
  • Create design proposals for retail clients, architects and designers via space planning, furniture and lighting, finishes, accessories, and designing bespoke modular systems and rugs
  • Create quotes and prepare client presentations such as floor plans, technical drawings, 3D renders and image galleries
  • Keep the showroom in pristine condition, assisting with visual merchandising when needed as well as assisting with showroom furniture moves/bringing new furniture in
  • Assist with product launches, exhibitions and designer collaborations
  • Regularly liaise with suppliers, administration and logistic contacts
  • Attend industry events and exhibitions

Key Skills:

  • Experience in high-end interiors with a design-related qualification
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven successful sales background
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships
  • Proactive and highly organised approach to work
  • A passion for furniture, interior design and architecture with an interest in materials and manufacturing
  • Knowledge of SketchUp or AutoCAD

Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM on a 5 day rota (weekend work and bank holiday work regularly occurs)
