Here Ye, Here Ye, Banksy is in Town
Video: Formation / Reformation
Following our recent exhibition in the Dreamspace Gallery, we took the liberty to interview artist Jonathan Roson.
As Jonathan Roson presents his first London exhibition Formation/Reformation at the Dreamspace Gallery, Adrem were delighted to collaborate with such talent to bring you Formation / Reformation. Watch the exclusive interview that brings you through the thought process of how Jonathan has composed this extravagant show.
Jonathan’s artistic style plays on ambiguity, creating aesthetic pleasure out of something you recognise but making it something else.
The use of marble is key in this show. It has proven to complement the gallery space itself, and vice versa. The materials have all played a part in bringing people a soft recognisable feel.
Formation/Reformation is about how to get a different meaning out of something we use everyday, how do we find another use for these objects. It’s all these questions that run through Jonathan’s head to help him produce such a show.
“A lot of people influence you, but no one really teaches you how to make art” – Jonathan Roson
